In making jewelry, you will need abrasive bands coarse grit coated on "no-lapping" band of cloth because it is useful in getting rid of an excess metal scratches, polishing as well as deburring.  This silicon carbide coarse grit abrasive that is glue bonded is great for any metal such as gold, silver, copper or platinum and particularly helpful in making inside rings, holes, or curved surfaces. It is available by individuals, dozens or by hundreds.

These glue bonded Silicon carbides are used for fast cutting. Far outlasts lapped bands and can be used wet or dry. Maximum revolutions per minute is 10,000. 60 grit •1/4" x 1/2" size. Excellent for polishing jewelry especially inside of rings, holes or curves to a mirror finish.
