In making jewelry, jewelers need these silicon carbide, medium coated on "no-lapping" cloth bands, because they are excellent for deburring, polishing, as well as removing excess metal scratches. This glue bonded silicon carbide, medium grit abrasive band that can be used on any metal like silver, platinum, gold, copper for example, on any surface yet especially useful for inside rings, holes or curved surfaces. Available by piece, dozen, or in a box of a hundred.
Features
These glue bonded Silicon carbides are used for fast cutting. Far outlasts lapped bands and can be used wet or dry. Maximum revolutions per minute is 10,000. 80 grit •3/8" x 1/2" size. Excellent for polishing jewelry especially inside of rings, holes or curves to a mirror finish.
