In making jewelry, jewelers need these silicon carbide, coarse coated on "no-lapping" cloth bands, because they are perfect for deburring, polishing, as well as removing excess metal scratches. This glue bonded silicon carbide, coarse grit abrasive band that can be used on any metal like silver, platinum, gold, copper for example, on any surface yet especially useful for inside rings, holes or curved surfaces. It is sold by piece, dozen, or by a box of a hundred.

These glue bonded Silicon carbides are used for fast cutting. Far outlasts lapped bands and can be used wet or dry. Maximum revolutions per minute is 10,000. 60 grit •3/8" x 1/2" size. Excellent for polishing jewelry especially inside of rings, holes or curves to a mirror finish.
