Outstanding “smooth” surface prong eliminates additional polishing procedure. No “clogging” on softer metals and particularly good for platinum. Guaranteed to outlast conventional cup burs over two times. The Blackhead Cup Bur is the ultimate cup bur for reaching tight places and rounding prongs that are very close together, because it has an extra thin wall – a setter’s favorite.

Blackhead Cup Burs are made of tungsten vanadium alloy steel. These burs provide extra long life due to superior cutting tooth geometry. Manufactured to close tolerances and precise forms, they are ideal for carving and finishing. Shank size 3/32”.
