Jewelers use ceramic bonded fused silica melting dishes to withstand temperatures up to 2800°F/1538°C. They have good thermal conductivity and will not contaminate metal alloys, chromium, gold or platinum.
Features
Melting dish is made of clay bonded fused silica and is used for melting precious metals, and can hold 1600 grams for temperatures up to 2500 F. This melting dish has a pouring lip.
