Insert the Guard: Hold your ring upside down. Place the ring guard inside the band, ensuring the smooth side faces up toward the top of the ring. The two prongs should extend outward on opposite sides of the band.
Secure the Prongs: Hold the guard in place. Using jeweler’s pliers, gently bend one prong down and wrap it snugly around the band—not too tight to damage the metal. Repeat this process with the second prong, securing the guard firmly to the ring.
Adjust the Fit: Try your ring on. If it feels too tight, remove it and gently press the center bar down to bring it closer to the band. Re-test the fit, repeating as needed until your ring fits securely and comfortably.
