Position the Ring Guard: Hold your ring upside down and place the ring guard inside the band. Make sure the smooth side of the guard is facing up toward the top of the ring. The prongs on the guard should extend out on opposite sides of the band.
Secure the Prongs: Using jeweler’s pliers, gently fold one prong down and carefully wrap it around the ring band. The prong should fit snugly around the band but avoid cutting into the metal. Once the first prong is secure, repeat this process with the second prong on the opposite side.
Adjust the Fit: Try the ring on to check the fit. If it feels too tight, remove the ring and gently push the center bar downward to bend it closer to the band, loosening the fit. Repeat trying the ring on and adjusting until the ring fits comfortably and securely.
