Step 1: Position the Guard
Hold your ring upside down, with the shank facing you.
Place the counter-loc ring guard inside the ring, ensuring the smooth side of the bar is facing up toward the inside of the ring.
The prongs of the guard should extend out evenly on both sides of the ring’s band.
Step 2: Secure the Prongs
While holding the guard in place, use jeweler’s pliers to gently fold down one prong.
Wrap the prong snugly around the ring’s band, ensuring it’s tight but not cutting into the metal.
Repeat the same process for the second prong on the opposite side.
Step 3: Adjust the Fit
Try your ring on to check the fit.
If the ring feels too tight, remove it and push the bar down slightly, bringing it closer to the band.
