The Foredom® S-77-43 Sheath is a genuine OEM replacement designed for CC, RS, R, S, and most Foredom® flex shaft motors. Measuring 43-5/8 inches, this high-quality outer sheath protects the inner shaft, ensuring smooth operation, reduced vibrations, and extended tool life. The durable construction safeguards your handpieces from dust, scratches, and dings, providing a secure and dust-free environment for both storage and transport. Whether you're replacing a worn-out sheath or upgrading your setup, this Foredom® replacement sheath ensures optimal performance for jewelry making, engraving, carving, and polishing applications.
Sheath for Most Motors: The Standard Outer Sheath is included with all Foredom® motors, except for Series LX, L, PGX, PG, EE, and F models. For users who prefer enhanced flexibility, an optional Neoprene Sheath (part number 77N) is available separately.
Standard vs. Neoprene Sheath: Before October 1, 2005, 1/8 HP Series SR motors came with neoprene sheaths. However, with the introduction of 1/6 HP Series SR motors, both 1/6 and 1/8 HP SR motors now come with standard material sheaths. If you require a neoprene sheath for additional flexibility, it is still available upon request.
