Ideal for stone setting applications and engraving techniques requiring a hammering action, the Hammer Action micromotor can vary its hammer from 0 to 5,000 strokes per minute. Operating at 115 or 230 volts, the Stone Setting/Engraving Micromotor Kit 1080 includes:

  • MH-011 Hammer Handpiece
  • HP4-917 Control (same as in rotary micromotor)
  • H8-214 Graver Holder
  • Handpiece tray and accessories (as described below)
CE marked with a one-year warranty, this micromotor offers precise control with its MH-011 Reciprocating Handpiece. The impact force can be adjusted from light to full by turning the metal ring, and the speed can be varied from 0 to 5,000 strokes per minute using the control box dial. Paired with the Graver Holder, it transforms into a precision power engraver, eliminating the need for an air compressor or flexible shaft drive.

The MH-011 Reciprocating Handpiece features a slender contoured grip and an impact adjustment ring for precise hammering work. Operating from 0 to 5,000 strokes per minute, it measures 6-1/4" overall length, 9/16" grip diameter, 1" motor diameter, and weighs 13 oz/369 gr. It consumes 1.5 amps (115V) or 0.75 amps (230V).

The H8-214 Graver Holder attaches to the handpiece's front end, converting it into a power engraving tool. It includes a 5/64" allen key (graver not included).
